Compère Lapin is the dream of James Beard Award-winning Chef Nina Compton.
Born and raised in St. Lucia, Chef Nina grew up surrounded by the flavors and beauty of the islands. At Compère Lapin, she melds the flavors of her Caribbean heritage with her passion for French and Italian cuisine, while celebrating the bounty of the Gulf Coast and New Orleans’ rich culinary heritage.
